It’s estimated that around 1.25 million people in the UK suffer from an eating disorder like anorexia or bulimia, but many more are falling into disordered eating relationships, in part due to a rise in social media and dialogue around ‘diet culture’ and clean eating.

On a quest for recovery

With this harsh reality in mind, we wanted to curate boxes which could give an empathetic lift to someone currently on a quest for full recovery from their mental health battle.

A helping hand for GP's

At the same time, formal healthcare routes are struggling to cope with the rising figures around eating disorders, and many individuals will face a minimum of 10 weeks just to get a CBT appointment – never mind a bed. This is tragic when eating disorders have the highest morbidity rate of any mental health illness.

We’re a social enterprise, so we plough over 50% of profits from our boxes into increasing awareness and education, and providing support, for those attempting recovery from eating disorders.
